Art School Santa Fe is an art education program geared towards skill and confidence building, innovative thinking, refining motor skills and memory and imagination strengthening. The core art curriculum focuses on old masters classical fine art techniques such as sketching, shading, painting, perspective, and portrait and figure drawing while also embracing modern expressions of art like fantasy art, comics, and manga.
At Art School Santa Fe, emphasis is placed on the ability to see things differently and appreciate others for their unique perspective. We teach students to be observers who question what they see, ponder, reflect and appreciate beauty. Artists are encouraged to create with joy and self discovery as each artist works individually on their own projects based on skill level, age and interest.
