In this creative camp students are invited to tap into their imagination by merging it with elements of nature, mythical lore and true animal anatomy. By mashing together the realistic with the fantastical students will gain skills in creating new creatures or animals that enjoy everyday human activities such as sipping tea while wearing a bowl gown! Students are encouraged to find the humorous and sometimes odd world around them for inspiration. Materials used include: color pencils, pen and ink, watercolors and pastels.

The mission of our summer program is to create a safe, fun and relaxing environment for students to grow, make friends and learn extensively about art. It is crucial for the school to create a space where everyone is welcomed, feels safe and supported. Any of my summer classes may offer: games, social time and relationship building, short video tutorials, media entertainment, prizes and treats, social and emotional support, books or time to relax.
